Concrete Re-sealing
With periodic maintenance, your concrete will continue to look beautiful for decades. Re-seal maintenance cleans and protects your concrete, reviving the color and keeping it beautiful.
For colored, textured or stamped concrete, we recommend the concrete be re-sealed every 1-3 years.
Concrete re-sealing is best done by a professional. Aztec Decorative Concrete offers competitive pricing for re-sealing. Projects that were not handled by Aztec Decorative Concrete to reseal may require an evaluation before re-sealing.
Stamped Concrete vs. Pavers
Many of our customers choose stamped concrete to achieve the look of pavers. Stamped concrete is about 1/3 the cost, lower maintenance and more durable than pavers.
- Stamped concrete is indistinguishable from real pavers.
- Traditional pavers are labor intensive because they must be fitted together by hand. You'll spend about 1/3 less on stamped concrete for the same look.
- Pavers require more maintenance as they are set on a sand base, causing settling and often needing to be re-leveled every 5 years. Plus, ants and weeds in the joints require constant attention.
- Stamped concrete is durable and impenetrable. The sealed surface protects against moisture and the elements, and it is recommended that stamped concrete be resealed once every 3 to 4 years or every 1 to 2 years to protect the surface and revive colors.
